Very bright out there again today. Really sunny days hit me the same as standing in front of the speakers at an ear splitting concert.

Remember the game Paperboy? When will we get a film made for that one?

Am I the only person who feels nervous watching someone on TV or in a movie carrying their backpack strapped to just one shoulder?

Bit windy today, and the sun almost couldn’t be any brighter. Jinx enjoyed running around and exploring the river edge again.

This crime documentary I’m watching takes place in Illinois, and I had no idea how soothing it would be to hear those accents again.

I’ve been called a minimalist, but the truth is I’m just easily overwhelmed.

I'm itching to take a tent out for a couple days.

Feeling a bit sad reading about the new Borealis train now that I’m no longer in Minnesota. A Milwaukee stop between St. Paul and Chicago is fantastic. I’ll console myself by getting reacquainted with the train routes through Seattle, which are pretty great from what I remember.

We checked out the nearby dog park today, and Jinx had a blast. She even taught some manners to a three-month-old husky/malamute puppy with the biggest paws you’ve ever seen.

Feeling it tonight that I’m never going to be able to read every book I want to read.

I’m introducing my brother to Ted Lasso. Seems to be going okay, though I have to tamp down some understandable cynicism pretty often.
